Voting results

The sounds which got the most votes were "machinery-like" sounds. The Low-friction sound had the additional characteristic of tires rolling on gravel.

Electronic sounds with machinery like characteristics were next and the warning sounds and the "bicycle bell-like" sounds got the least votes.

The sounds that each person selected were in average rated to be "Suitable" to "Very suitable".

Please remember that this was a "disk top"-test, not a real field test!

It is interesting to see that it is not the same sounds that are preferred by men and women.

There is not much effect of age for the chosen age groups.
