Demo Software Download

Try before you buy!

The following software downloads are can be activated by registered users using their existing keys. Otherwise they serve as demo versions of the software.

Maintenance Releases of software:

It is recommended that all users upgrade to the following maintenance releases which contain important updates described in the read me file:

Alternate download from ftp site:

1. Open a Windows Explorer Window
2. Enter the following address ftp://ftp.delta.dk
3. User: nlpublic
4. Password: noiselab
5. Open the noiseLAB Sept 7 2009 folder and select the items to download.

How to Install

  1. Install noiseLAB 3.0.16, and if you alread have it installed, run the Patch to Upgrade to 3.0.17.
  2. Install noiseLAB Batch Processor 3.1.0.
  3. For existing users, your existing key will automatically run with the new versions.

And there are some fascinating tone demo files you can play with!

To get a sampling of what you can do with noiseLAB, including its advanced Tone Analysis capabilities, navigate to the DemoFiles Folder on the ftp site and download the "noise samples with tones.zip" file. Unzip it and place in the following folder:

Program Files\DELTA\noiseLAB 3.0\Projects

Run the Batch Processor, and navigate to the above selected folder to the noiseLAB Project File (.nlp extension).

Here is a wide collection of tone signals used in conjunction with the ISO 1996 Annex 3 standardization process. Enjoy!

noiseLAB 3.0.16 with Batch Processor

(certified for Type 1 Acoustic Measurements): Includes User Guide. Maintenance Release for Batch Processor posted October 18, 2007 (Build 4). After you click on the above link you may choose to download one master zip file directly or download selected components individually from an ftp server. A noiseLAB project containing tone files used in conjunction with the ISO 1996-2 Tone Analysis standardization is also available on the ftp server.

Download Instructions

  • noiseLAB 3.0 consists of two packages: noiseLAB 3.0 (Classic) and the Batch Processor.
  • noiseLAB 3.0 (Classic) is used for recording, editing, and analyzing signals in a quick, easy to use manner.
  • the Batch Processor performs more sophisticated and flexible analysis based on Clips created by the noiseLAB editor. A major new feature in the Batch Processor is the ability to combine any or all forms of analysis on as many Clips as you desire. Tone Analysis and "Train" analysis is also provided.

Installation Instructions

  • Download the demo(s), unzip files if necessary.
  • Follow the installation procedure in the readme file

We strongly recommend reading the Read Me file and noiseLAB User's Guide 3.0 which are included in the download

If you already have noiseLAB 2.1, note the following

  • If you have noiseLAB 2.1 installed, you may keep this installed after installing noiseLAB 3.0.
  • Recordings made with noiseLAB 2.1 will be modified when you read them with noiseLAB 3.0 or the Batch Processor. Therefore, make a back-up of existing Projects made in noiseLAB 2.1.
