ISIC who develops, manufactures and sells monitors and PC solutions for markets with demanding requirements to robustness such as marine, military and off-shore has successfully passed a complete test at DELTA for marine approval of a new family of monitors.

DuraMON WS from ISIC is through a flawless test process, on the largest of the family members, now included in the "exclusive club" of products that have passed the demanding marine type test without any annotations.

The family consist of a whole new monitor series of Full HD wide-screen [16:9] LED monitors in sizes 22", 24" and 27".

In less than 3 weeks DELTA has managed to perform all tests - including reporting. This was made possible by focusing on the tough requirements right from the beginning of the development process as well as pre-testing of critical phenomena such as emission and electromagnetic field in order to ensure compliance with the requirements prior to the commencement of the testing for marine type approval. Products are now undertaking a complete HALT test as well.

"DELTA has by running environmental- and EMC test across the product family and a careful planning shown a high degree of professionalism, which has been a major factor for the success of the project. We were selected as the supplier of the 3 new marine monitor types just before the summer 2010, with a request from our client, that supplies could start early 2011." says Henrik Hoe, R&D Manager, ISIC.
