Right technology for the right job

Which technology will be the right for my product?

It can be overwhelming to choose one wireless technology among all the possibilities that exist on the market. Should I select one of the widely known technologies as Bluetooth or WiFi with all the related costs? Will ZigBee or Z-Wave be the right solution for me considering the markets I plan my product for, or should I instead choose a simpler 802.15.4 based technology. On top of that new technologies are constantly developing which adds the parameter "Is the time right?"

Legal requirements to wireless solutions

Not all frequency bands are harmonised among countries, which your products target, and choosing the right frequency band from start, is mandatory for a successful project. The approval process might be different from country to country but with the knowledge about this issue and careful planning up-front your way to the markets will be less troublesome.

We track technologies

DELTA's Wireless Centre is systematically collecting information about the most relevant technologies and continuously tracks the emerging technologies. We are registering the data from the producer but also our own knowledge together with customer's experience of the different technologies.

We deliver clarification

DELTA delivers an analysis of how customer selected technologies will perform in the planned product. We compare several customer-defined parameters and add parameters, which are relevant, based on our experience. The conclusion clarifies which technology to choose.
