DELTA is happy to announce our HALT campaign, the purpose of which is to increase the positive and direct experiences with HALT amongst companies developing products, where quality and robustness are not negotiable.

Rapid HALT test

If you have not yet tried the HALT test at DELTA and are not convinced that it will be of use to you, the rapid HALT test gives you the chance of performing the HALT test on one of your existing products with known field failures. Exeperiences are that the rapid HALT in just one day will reveal the failures generated over years of actual use of the product. During the HALT campaign we offer the rapid HALT test at a fixed introduction price of DKK 10,000.

Standard HALT at reduced prices

For customers who already have experiences with HALT tests at DELTA we are pleased to announce that we during the campaign period have made serious price reductions on all test days.

Numerous HALT tests performed at DELTA have proven that HALT is an invaluable, fast and efficient way to find weak points in the product during the development phase.

Maximum information in a minimum of time

HALT gives you maximum information about weak points in a minimum of time. The weak points are evaluated and it is decided if the product shall be modified in order to obtain an improved robustness.

The main advantages of HALT are

• The product is mature when it is introduced to the market
• The product does not have children's diseases
• Shorter time-to-market is achieved
• Failures do practically not occur during use.

During the HALT test the product is exposed to a number of conditions or combinations of conditions in steps of increasing stress. All relevant functions are monitored during the exposure in order to obtain maximum information. The test continues until the product reaches the limit of technology or the destruction limit.

A complete thermo-mechanical HALT test can normally be completed in 2-3 working days, but on the one-day Rapid HALT test we focus on selected parameters which are most relevant for the product to be tested.
