DELTA is an European Notified Body in the area of type examination and unit verification of automatic and non-automatic weighing instruments, modules hereof, and multi-dimensional measuring instruments.

DELTA offers the following services:

• Type examination and testing of modules and complete instruments
• Software examination
• Type approval certification of non-automatic weighing instruments (EC Directive 2009/23/EC, annex II.1)
• Type examination certification of automatic weighing instruments (EC Directive 2004/22/EC, module B)
• Unit verification of automatic weighing instruments (EC Directive 2004/22/EC, module G)

DELTA is always up-to-date regarding the rules for type examination and their interpretation through our participation in WELMEC WG2 Weighing instruments, WELMEC WG7 Software, OIML TC9/SC2 automatic weighing instruments, and OIML TC5/SC2 Software.

Heat and flow meters

DELTA offers type approval testing of heat and oil flow meters according to international standards and the MID directive.

DELTA is a member of CEN/TC176/WG2 "Heat meters - Requirements, test methods and technical editing" regarding development of the EN1434 standard.
