To access a certified area, certification of products is required by law. The certification shows the end-user that the product fulfils the relevant legal requirements.

Approval management requires know-how

DELTA has been an EMC Notified Body according to the EMC directive 89/336/EC since 1996 and we have undertaken numerous EMC assessments.

We use our experience when recommending approval strategies and carrying out EMC assessments.

Approvals and test reports

Before applying for the relevant certification, you need to fulfil legal requirements, typically verified by testing and documented in a test report. A certain level of assessment is accepted, however it must be documented.

DELTA experience has, from the very beginning back in 1944, shown that EMC must be managed.

By implementing EMC solutions into the design and printed circuit boards (PCB), you can avoid any unexpected major delays in compliance testing.

Testing in the design phase

Once the modules and components of the product are ready, an EMC Quick-check indicates if anything needs to be corrected.

When the total system is powered up for the first time, an EMC pre-test can verify how the total system performs. If anything needs to be corrected, the fine tuning of the EMC design should be concluded at this point.
