Good sound conditions enhance utility value and comfort

People buying homes, companies and public institutions are attaching ever more importance to acoustics. This is due, among other things, to the prevailing trend towards large glass areas and sparse furnishing, along with the increased use of open-plan offices.
Acoustics needs to be planned from the start
To obtain satisfactory sound conditions in buildings, it is above all necessary to plan sound and acoustics from the start of the project. Our experience is that improving the acoustic conditions once building work is complete is generally both expensive and difficult.
What needs to be done to ensure that acoustics are good?
DELTA is with you all the way:
- Assessment of acoustic properties of designs, materials, assemblies, etc.
- Choice of the best sound-absorbing materials and their location
- Project reviews
- Acoustic measurements in buildings during and after the construction phase
Based on drawing material and specifications the project review, for example, may discover critical designs, which otherwise would adversely affect sound insulation.
40 years' experience
For over 40 years DELTA has carried out a very large number of field measurements of sound conditions in buildings. DELTA also has significant knowledge of materials from building acoustics laboratory measurements. Through this, significant experience has been built up regarding designs and assembly details are often the cause of acoustic problems.
