ISTQB Software Tester Foundation

Between 20 and 50% of a project is spend on testing. Obviously - excellent skills, processes and tool support can make a huge different on how much knowledge about the product can be achieved.

Course content
This course teaches you how to approach software test planning, specification and performing, to maximize the effort to the given context, and to meet the organisations' expectations.

The course gives practical advice on the use of test support tools, standards and guidelines, and provides practical examples on test documentation.

You will leave the course with an overview of the many techniques available to identify test cases, and the most important has been discussed in detail.

Become ISTQB and ISEB certified tester
After examination you will qualify forr the international recognised ISTQB Software Tester Foundation Certificat. The syllabus will be discussed during the class, and is accredited by Dansk IT.

What is ISTQB?
ISTQB, International Software Testing Qualification Board was founded in 2002 to support international certification of software testing professionals. You will find two levels of qualifications:

• Foundation Certificate
• Advanced level Certificates with the following specialisations
  • Avanced Level Test Manager
  • Advanced Level Test Analyst
  • Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst

You can become Test Analyst and Technical Test Analyst when the test manager certificate is achieved.

Exam
The exam last 1 hour and includes 40 multiple choice questions. 26 correct answers is minimum to be certified. The exam will normally be held the following monday after the course to give the participants the possibility to prepare.

Who should participate

Every software professional responsible for or performing software test must have the skills presented in this foundation class.

Only requirement is basic it usage skills.

A participant can cancel free of charge up to 10 working days prior to the event.

After that full fee is due, but you are always allowed to send a substitute.
