Content of the course
The CMMI-DEV v1.3 introduction class gives you an SEI Certificate, but it offers far more value by providing each participant with a chance to understand all that is involved in developing systems or products.
You will be introduced to processes included in product development that may not be part of your daily work. This knowledge can give you a greater insight in your colleagues work, and this understanding makes you more qualified to improve the working practices around you.
All this is based on the CMMI-DEV v1.3 Model for which you get:
- Understand how CMMI® can support the business goals of the organization.
- Understand the philosophy and psychology behind the CMMI® model.
- Understand and explain the architecture of the CMMI® model.
- Understand how the CMMI® model can be applied to the business processes of their organization.
After the class, you have a framework how you can improve your daily work processes, and how you can improve the way you develop your service systems and deliver effective services.
All this is based on the CMMI-DEV v1.3 Model for which you get:
- Understand how CMMI®-DEV v1.3 can support the business goals of the organization.
- Understand the need to develop a Project Strategy that takes a long term view of a project
On the third evening there is a dinner for all participants, included in the price, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences.
The participants receive the books "Practical Insight into the CMMI®" by Tim Kasse together with a CD with several practical examples and experiences.

Cancellation policy
A participant can cancel free of charge up to 10 working days prior to the event. After that full fee is due, but you are always allowed to send a substitute.
