The Axiom Crash or Contribute Evaluation process

From input to Axiom CC factor

Off line review

This product line is optimized for low cost and speed. Communication back and forth is minimized.

You send us materials -> we give you a quote and an invoice -> you pay -> we perform the review -> you get the result.

Experience distillation

The evaluation we perform on the document is a defined process based on

  • the experience of hundreds of project and organisational maturity assessments
  • countless numbers of specific reviews
  • all relevant standards and models (CMMI / ISO / ..)

DELTA Axiom CC Checklists

From all this, we have destilled the generic quality characteristics, and what effect they likely will have on the final result, and compiled it to a set of checklists which is our unique asset.

This process - we claim - produce a result that far exceeds the capability of most quality organisations.

Domain knowledge

The DELTA Axiom CC evaluation is independent of the specific domain. We don't claim to evaluate the validity of domain specific statements. We use our process expertice to evaluate if the domain specific statements have been sufficiently covered by e.g. internal reviews.

However - we have seen a lot - and if possible we will challenge on the domain specific issues as well.

Scientific?

Almost, but not entirely. We have used all available ISO/IEC/IEEE/CMMI models and standards to ensure a reproducable process that is based on existing recognised practices, but the final DELTA Axiom CC calculation is our own. Still based on all our experience, but not qualified by formal research. Hopefully - we will get the privilege to create scientific empiric data to qualify. Until then - it is only extremely valuable for our customers.

Knowledge

Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information on it.
