The training and certification then adds the theory, process, tools and techniques to support the SCOPE manager in performing his role. And metrics - above all - metrics. The SCOPE manager is trained to interpret the hard international facts about sizes and productivity rates from 4000+ projects categorized by e.g. domain, platform and development language. Engagement
The customer engages - as soon as possible - the SCOPE manager, who works onsite in average two days per month, to manage the scope of the project.

The result is a project, where the customer pays a reasonable price for the delivered functionality, and where the supplier is guaranteed to get paid for the job well done. A nice concept compared to the traditional alternative. ( horror story - read it if you dare )
