"If you like this to be done smarter - let's find out how!"
In 1991 Morten Korsaa read a note in the printer tray, which turned out to be a print of a fax (send by L.V. Gerstner, IBM) of an email that has circulated a lot. The note must have had some substance, since so many people had forwarded it. It was a development manager from Microsoft, who explained why MS Dos 3 was developed 30 times faster than PC DOS 4! Not 30 percent, but times! That became the trigger for Mortens carrier, and it has been the guiding line ever since. The search for product development excellence.
The search has brought Morten deep into project management, development methods and development processes. With that insight, it became obvious that lack of performance is due to lack of skills in those areas, and improving skills and processes are inevitable.
But it does not just happen by itself. It requires the ability to improve. On a personal, project and organizational level. Mastering the desired change process is now Morten's core competence. Learned from years of being global responsible for process improvement in a multinational company and not least from participating in the ImprovAbility project.
Morten's favorit roles are as teacher and /or coach.
