These are the topics closest to Anne Mette Hass's professional heart. Anne Mette has worked with IT development in many areas, including a hospital, the oil industry, telecommunication, a hardware producer, and the European space industry.  

She has experienced, sometimes the hard way, what it means not to have proper requirements, configuration management, or testing. There was so much she wished she had known. There still is.

This is what drives her: to get to know more and to share that knowledge with others, so that perhaps they will not say "I wish I had known" as often as she has.

Anne Mette is a communicator and promoter of her favorite topics. Besides writing books and teaching Anne Mette has left a legacy to the software world that is all ready very visible in more than 7000 offices around the world. The "... at a glance - or two" posters, which demonstrates her ability to create an overview of a complex situation.

Having worked with and seen the benefits of the testing certifications, Anne Mette was the driving force when a scheme for the iNTCCM certification in configuration management was produced in 2006.

Since 2008 Anne Mette has been author in the ISO working group producing a new international standard for the complete software testing process.

In 2009 Anne Mette Hass received the Tenth European Testing Excellence Award for her contributions. This recognition is given by the EuroSTAR test conference, the premier training and educational event in the European software testing community.
